The post "Matter, Life, Intelligence and Consciousness" suggested that Life, Intelligence and Consciousness are properties of matter that manifest themselves only under certain arrangements of matter. In a subsequent post "A train of thought" I quickly got into argument with a couple of people on the World Wide Web, presumably Hindu, who argued that Consciousness preceded Matter, Life and Intelligence and that Consciousness was God.
