Canada's contribution to the environment at COP15, the Copenhagen summit on climate change, can be viewed at two levels,
1. At the federal level the Stephen Harper government's contribution consists of
- A 3 minute worthless speech by the Honourable Jim Prentice
- The environmental cost of getting the Right Honourable Stephen Harper and the Honourable Jim Prentice to Copenhagen and back
Shameful. At the cost of the Canadian taxpayer.
2. At the local level
- Mayors of major canadian cities joined mayors of other international cities to exchange and develop concrete actionable plans to reduce global warming. Plans that are powered by economic benefits to their cities.
When the world judges Canada on its contribution to the Copenhagen Summit on Climate Change lets hope it includes the contribution of our mayors and not just on the dismal contributrion of our federal leaders [sic].

I'm actually glad to see all this stuff, to see that this world offers creativity and ideas other than what my lonesome small town provides.
